About Us

Nannies Plus: a home-based Early Childhood Service.

We are a licenced Early Childhood provider operating under the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008.  Nannies Plus was begun in 2006 with the company name 'Wellington Nannies Support Service Ltd'.

Our goal

Our goal, for each enrolled child, is to empower their learning and development through the provision of a high quality education programme within the home environment.

Where are we?

55 Abel Smith Street, Wellington where we share office space with Wellington Nannies College.

Our Philosophy

Nannies Plus recognises that a child’s parents and home are the most important factor in their well-being and development. We respect the family and endeavour to work within the family values and culture, providing support for the parents and education for the child. Flexibility is regarded highly as the nanny-educator provides for the child in their home, takes them into the community, and joins in with other early childhood services.

We focus on the uniqueness of each child and their interests, strengths and capabilities. We encourage a love for living, exploring and creating in a positive environment that fosters confidence. We empower each child’s learning and development within the home environment and the local community through supporting their nanny educators.

Over Christmas the service is likely to shut down.

Link with Wellington Nannies College

Nannies Plus ECE service was created with the purpose of providing a continuation of the relationships between the nanny college, WNC families and WNC graduates.   It is an extension and continuation of the support provided by Wellington Nannies College with the aim of consolidating and extending the learning of the nanny.
