How does Nannies Plus work for nannies?
In partnership:
Nannies Plus involves a three-way partnership: the family, the nanny-educator, and the visiting teacher.
We talk with the nanny at least every two weeks about how things are going for them and the children, and like to meet every six months with the family and nanny-educator (within work hours) to talk together and plan for the future.
As a resource:
Nannies Plus provides a support service for nannies (and their employers).
We provide

- guidance for nannies using IR56 tax payer system
- home visits by Visiting Teachers every month
- record books for daily use
- resource kits for children’s play
- professional development opportunities
- a listening ear for issues that may arise in your job
- social gatherings in the evening or weekends
- guidance (and photos) for the writing of your learning stories
- newsletter to keep you in touch
- weekly music group for you and your children
