At Nurtured at Home - Nannies Plus children are our first priority.

We offer children high quality learning environments in their own safe and nurturing family home. We recognise that children learn best through play, and empower each child to explore and participate at their own pace.

Our Nannies are supported by qualified, experienced Early Childhood Teachers to ensure that learning experiences challenge children's skills, knowledge and interests, and these opportunities are not limited by gender, ethnicity, culture, ability or background.

We actively seek opportunities to form responsive and reciprocal relationships with children, families and whānau. We embrace families and the wider community as a whole celebrating their diversity and all they contribute to our learning rich environment.

Growing Young Minds

Providing a quality programme for children is a partnership between you, your Nanny and Nurtured at Home – Nannies Plus. Our fully qualified and registered Visiting Teachers are there to work alongside you and your Nanny to ensure that your aspirations for your child are achieved. To work in partnership, we are in regular contact with you via your child’s journal, portfolios, and regular visits to your home. We also offer an extensive toy library, free learning resources, as well as weekly play and music groups to supplement the programme offered by the Nanny in your home.

Nannies are supported by qualified, registered, and experienced Early Childhood Education teachers to ensure that learning experiences and opportunities provoke and challenge children’s skills, knowledge and interests and that an individualised learning programme is provided for each child.
